Guests appreciate the high-quality buffet breakfast and excellent service. Room is spacious. Got a mountain view and need to pay extra if upgrade to seaview. Very friendly and helpful concierge who suggested nearby walking places to go eg Yeomiji Botanic garden and Cheonjeyeon Fall. Highly recommended for the pleasant stay.
Will stay again. Advantages; helpful staff at concierge, amazing food at the Parkview - one of the best omelette ever had, walking access to the beach.. (but beware of steep stairs..) and….. house keeping service was first class and friendly. Disadvage; TV could be bigger, NO smart TV, No utube, No neflix … power point was only on one side of the bed.
Shampoo/ conditioner/ bodywash is just , not suitsble for 5 star hotel. When u purchase the toilettes bag which cost 30$ u get the same stuff inside with tooth brush and paste. We stayed 3 nights and were very impressive with house keeping service. Everytime we come back, towels were replaced, bed was made, refilled stocks etc. thanks house keeping team x the best \U0001fa75 Nice food, good facilities and room services.

However, they tried to provide their best cinfirtibg service to customers possible as much as they could. Once we changed tgectoon three times, they kept cleaning morning and late afternoon twice before we finally checked out the date. Big hotel, beach nearby with walk, huge testaurant, lots of children.

The Grand Josun Jeju provides excellent facilities and a convenient location for exploring Jeju Island.
Guests appreciate the delicious breakfast, cleanliness, friendly staff, and comfortable, spacious rooms. We loved the HILLSIDE SUITES. Amazing property. We stayed in the Hill Suites and the ocean view room was stunning. Huge room, immaculate and very comfortable.
The property is meticulously designed, although the main building is a little dated in its structure which is revamped from an old hotel it doesn't spare on grandiose. I think the main lobby needs a nice welcoming flower structure that would top it off full points for me. Wonderful grand hotel resort with fabulous facilities and a 24 hr onsite convenience store. Loved the sauna and pools while the free parking nearby was very convenient for guests to access. Grand Josun Jeju is a beautiful property, if you are going during summer, bring your swim gear, the pool is nice.
The hotel is also walking distance (about 10 mins) to the F&B area near Teddy Bear Museum, and a cafe that has good breakfast, any further it’s better to have a car. The hotel also has a convenience store on site so you won’t go hungry. If you are willing to walk, there’s McDonald’s and other restaurants within 20 mins walking distance. It’s hard to hail a ride after 8pm. Our second stay and I would love to return again It's basically a honeymoon / baby hotel.
Many young couples and families with children under 10. Very calm and peaceful. Clean, nice, heated pool. Breakfast could be better, we opted out, but it's still convenient. The sauna is absolutely wonderful, I really healed my body and soul there.
As for the room type, the last year we stayed in a standard view room. You have to know that there is NO view. It was a ground floor room with all the consequences. We didn't use the balcony at all. This year we chose garden view but got upgraded to a poolside view.
The poolside view honestly made the stay. Choose poolside or at least garden view if you can. Try to stay away from standard view. There's also this hill suite building, we'll probably try and book a room there next year but we couldn't quite figure out how to use the spa. It wasn't clear if the building has its own spa or some overpass or underpass, or you'd have to walk across the road to the main building.
The beach is 5 minutes away by car and around 30 on foot. There's surfing lessons and surf rentals there, you can rent a chair, an umbrella, a sunbed and a tube. Also, if you're thinking Lotte because of the closeness to the beach, note that the pedestrian walk to the beach is awful from there. It's 5-10 minutes of stairs. Grand Josun Jeju is conveniently located in the south west of Jeju.
Good base for covering attractions located in the west and south of Jeju. They have both indoor and outdoor pool that is temperate controlled.
